“Alric Ljunghager was born in April 14, 1987 in Luleå, Sweden and learned to ski at the age of three. His family moved a lot but skiing always stayed a priority and a possibility of living in the very north of Scandinavia.
In 2013, Alric´s neck was broken and bound to stay on the ground for 6 months doing rehab and he grew a profound interest for still photography. Since, he has travelled the world with his camera and his crew, The Bunch, and others, being featured and making covers of ski magazines around the globe. But, its not only skiers being caught on camera.
Raw nature, music covers and urban environments, always with details och greater perspective. Rather then a regular still picture there is always a movement being framed, bringing time as second dimension into a single picture. Drama, melancholia yet playful and mind boggling.
The past years, he also studied Visual Communication at the The Faculty of Fine Art, Music and Design at University of Bergen, Norway, learning and exploring also without the camera.”
